Bio

Matilda is a visual artist based in France and the United Kingdom, who's interested in a collaborative and experimental approach to animation.  Intrigued by new technologies and their effect on the world, she crosses disciplines, between animation, installation and craft. Her work is introspective, focusing on cognitive processes and our sensory experience which she explores through surreal narratives and tactile textures. With her installations she challenges the materiality of the screen and tries to understand animation as a kinetic object.
