Initial storyboarding
27th February Updates:
Scene 1: 'How much air'
A real life person is lying in bed staring emptily at the pillow next to them, which has projected onto it the thoughts running through their mind.
This animation will be projected onto the pillow, and when the character says' Can I select the freshest particles, rejecting those infected by other bodies, other breaths' the person gently strokes the pillow pushing away in the animation 'particles' off the pillow.
The particles will be done in 3D software, this is an example of the work in progress:
left to do in this scene: change video of me into outline of person, ADD PARTICLES animation to composition and CLEAN UP window animation and finally PROJECT and FILM.
Scene 2: Lungs.
The person lying down next to the pillow rolls onto their back looking straight into the camera, the animation is now projected onto the persons head and chest.
left to do in this scene: Project on to person and film.
Scene 3: Revelation:
'I want to see water, feel water, be water, be surrounded by something that feels real'
the concept for this scene is that the 'particles' previously in the air like a cloud, starts to condense together to form rain, and that's when water stars 'Flowing'. In this scene the person lying down sits up, to kind of show some change in thought and situation and the animation is projected on the person but especially the wall behind them as they've sat up in bed.
Things left to do: Rearrange molecules and sort out camera movement, project and film. (AND maybe at the end add the rain animation that follows up in the next scene to make a smoother transition?
Scene 4: Shower rain
This scene continue the rain that started in previous scene. The animation is projected on real shower and the water is running.
Left to do: Project and film.
Scene 5: Shower basin:
Water puddles join together and grow in the shower basin. The puddles are animated in 3D package.
Scene 6 : In The Kitchen'
In this scene I animated real food being scrapped and flowing away on glass and then projected it onto plates and objects in a sink. I Have projected and filmed some of this animation because when I was in my home in France I had a very good set up for the projector. However As I didn't have the 'Big Camera' I may need to re-film these scenes, but for now I have this footage.
Animation on its own:
